Founder and Clinical Director
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own lived experience with PTSD and complex trauma. Like many of the clients I work with today, I spent years trying to make sense of what I was feeling and why certain experiences continued to live in my body long after they were over.
Talk therapy was helpful and gave me important insight and language for my experiences. But I often felt there was still something missing, a gap between what I could understand intellectually and what my body was still carrying.
Discovering somatic therapy became the bridge that helped close that gap. Learning to work with the nervous system and the mind–body connection allowed me to move beyond simply coping and toward a much fuller, more regulated way of living. It profoundly changed the quality of my life.
That experience is what inspired me to become a therapist and to walk alongside others on their own healing journeys.
I feel especially passionate about working with individuals who are open to exploring the connection between mind and body, particularly those who experience the physical impacts of trauma, chronic stress, and grief.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, tension, emotional numbness, or a nervous system that always feels “on edge.”
I also deeply value working with first responders and others in high-stress professions who experience chronic nervous system dysregulation from the nature of their work.
Alongside individual trauma work, I love supporting couples as they learn to understand each other more deeply, repair disconnection, and create relationships that feel safe, supportive, and emotionally fulfilling.
In session, my style is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, where we move at a pace that feels safe for you while gently exploring patterns, emotions, and nervous system responses together.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves in a deeper way.
Virtual therapy is available across Ontario.

How We Guide Your Healing Journey
At Curated Counselling, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Each treatment plan is thoughtfully curated based on your unique experiences, nervous system, goals, and needs. Rather than applying a single approach to everyone, we integrate different therapeutic modalities to create a path to healing that is tailored specifically to you.
Many people come to therapy understanding their experiences intellectually, yet still feel the physical effects of trauma, stress, and anxiety in their bodies. Our work bridges the gap between insight and embodied healing by integrating somatic approaches that support nervous system regulation and deeper, lasting change.
Healing from trauma requires safety, pacing, and a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the brain, body, and relationships. Our work is grounded in trauma-informed practices that prioritize stabilization, nervous system awareness, and compassionate exploration.
Our approach recognizes that relationships are central to healing. Whether working with individuals or couples, we explore patterns of connection, communication, and attachment to help foster deeper understanding, emotional safety, and more fulfilling relationships.
Therapy at Curated Counselling is a collaborative process. We work together to understand your story, explore patterns, and develop tools that support meaningful and sustainable change. Our goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered in your healing journey.

We offer individual counselling, couples therapy, trauma support, and grief counselling. Our therapists use integrative approaches like somatic therapy, PACT, EFT, and CBT, always tailored to your needs.
PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) helps partners understand how their nervous systems react in conflict. Instead of focusing only on communication, it builds safety, trust, and deeper connection.
Somatic therapy focuses on the mind–body connection. Through breathwork, grounding, and awareness, it helps release tension and teaches the nervous system to return to balance after stress or trauma.
