Our mission is to provide trauma-informed, holistic care that is as unique as the individuals, couples, and families we serve. We do not believe in standardized approaches to mental health; instead, we curate treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, experiences, and goals. By combining somatic and cognitive approaches, we help clients process trauma, reconnect with their bodies, and build lasting resilience. In a safe, collaborative, and down-to-earth environment, we walk alongside clients with compassion and trust, supporting them in cultivating self-understanding and stepping into lives that feel grounded, empowered, and whole.

 

At Curated Counselling, we believe every healing journey is unique, and therapy can be a powerful space for growth, reflection, and transformation. Founded in 2021 by Samantha Shore (MSW, RSW, RSSW), our clinic is built on over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges.

 

While most mental health interventions focus primarily on cognitive strategies, our clinic emphasizes the powerful connection between mind and body. We integrate somatic practices with trauma-informed care, combining evidence-based treatment interventions. This holistic approach supports clients in not only reframing thoughts, but also processing trauma, releasing stored tension, and fostering deeper nervous-system regulation for lasting change.

 

Our therapy environment is supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative—creating a safe space where clients can explore at their own pace. We offer individual counselling, couples therapy, trauma support, and grief counselling. Our therapists use integrative approaches like somatic therapy, PACT, EFT, and CBT, always tailored to your needs.

PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) helps partners understand how their nervous systems react in conflict. Instead of focusing only on communication, it builds safety, trust, and deeper connection.

Somatic therapy focuses on the mind–body connection. Through breathwork, grounding, and awareness, it helps release tension and teaches the nervous system to return to balance after stress or trauma.
