Our nervous system is wired for connection. When our attachment needs are met, we feel calm, secure, and emotionally balanced. When they’re disrupted—through loss, neglect, inconsistency, or trauma—we may develop protective patterns such as avoidance, anxiety, or emotional withdrawal.
Attachment-based therapy helps identify and gently shift these patterns by creating a secure base within the therapeutic relationship. Through consistent attunement and emotional safety, clients begin to experience what secure attachment feels like—sometimes for the first time.
This process helps re-wire how the body and mind respond to closeness and vulnerability. Over time, clients become more open to trust, intimacy, and authentic expression, both within and beyond therapy.
